The Kano State Government has modernised the transportation system to enhance urban mobility and safety. Key roads and junctions have been redesigned for better traffic flow, while new road networks link major residential and industrial areas. Under the administration of His Excellency, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, plans are underway to revive public mass transit and expand transport facilities to meet the needs of the growing population. The State has also prioritised the maintenance of critical routes connecting local governments to major markets, improving accessibility for traders and farmers alike. These initiatives form part of the Government’s broader vision for a well-connected, safe, and efficient transport system that supports social and economic activity across Kano State.
